Winter Showed up Late for Work

 To give the scientific term for La Nina, it is the freak ass temperature drop that comes the year after the freak o temperature rise of El Nino. The Vancouverites will remember the amazing super long summer last year, and now its time to pay!.

A few weeks ago the cherry blossoms were breaking out early and we were all ready to brag about an early Spring. Now we can sulk about a late winter : (

I was walking down Granville Street last night and holy was it windy. But sure enough my gender did not seem to care because girls were still sporting the miniskirt on the strip. Vancouver residents like to deny nature.

The point is, as "Spring" technically begins on March 20th, we're going to have one last winter breeze. So put away the shorts and sandals and put the parka BACK on, because its turtleneck time.
